Isn't it great when God reminds you about something you already knew, just in time to have to use that information? The character Polwarth, from another MacDonald book, is a very asthmatic dwarf, who always manages to keep in mind that the health of his soul is much more important than his body. (In MacDonald's words it would sound more like "the health of himself is much more important than that of his body.")
I have mono again. Luckily, 15 years later we have affordable anti-viral medications, which make things a little easier, and better anti-inflammatory drugs so that I can at least work a little while sick. But it's a good reminder, that the condition of my soul/self is still much more dependable and important than the condition of my body.
God sent a blessing this week, I am now part-time secretary/whatever at the church. Getting sick in the middle of a job transition and while the church is in the process of buying/renovating a new building was not ideal. Maybe it's a good thing the public library didn't call me back this week. The sewing business is on hold until I have more energy. Only maybe a week or so. I also need to come up with initial advertising ideas. I forget that the IRS likes businesses to show income shortly after they are started.....
